Legislative Instrument – F2016L02011 – IMMI 17/003 – Arrangements for Work and Holiday and Working Holiday Visa Applications, specifies additional countries eligible for Subclass 462 visas and changes to the manner of lodgement in some countries.

 

Schedule 1

Adds Hungary, Luxembourg and San Marino to the list of eligible countries for this subclass.

This schedule also provides the educational qualifications required, place and manner for making Subclass 462 applications.

Note: street addresses for lodging applications in Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Spain have been removed and postal addresses are now only provided.

 

Schedule 2

Updates the forms, places and manner for making applications for Work and Holiday visa for applicants who have previously held a Work and Holiday Subclass 462 visa.

This schedule also contains specific and different arrangements for the lodgement of Work and Holiday visa applications for passport holders from the United States and the People’s Republic of China, who have not previously held Work and Holiday visas.

 

Schedule 3 – Working Holiday visas

Updates the place, manner and forms for making applications for Subclass 417 Working Holiday visas.

 

Schedule 4

Specifies the countries and eligible passports for Subclass 417 visas.

 

The Instrument revokes IMMI 16/101 (F2016L01763) under Items 1224A and 1225 and paragraphs 462.221(c) and commences on 1 January 2017.
